RULES FOR DESIGN OF THE ARTICLES FOR THE JOURNAL

"JOURNAL OF MARINE MEDICINE"

 

Articles that meet the journal's theme and meet the following requirements are accepted for consideration:

  1. The article is sent to the editorial office in one copy signed by all authors. It should be accompanied by a referral to the editorial office, the authorized signature of the head and the seal of the institution where the work was performed. Information about the authors is attached on a separate sheet.
  2. The main sections of the journal: “Organization of medical and preventive service”,

“COVID-19”, “Emergency Medicine”, “Hygiene, Sanitation and Occupational Diseases”, “Clinical Practice and Preventive Medicine”, “Medical and Environmental Problems of Coastal Regions”, “New Medical Technologies”, “Experimental and Theoretical Issues of Biology and Medicine”, “History of Medicine”, “Lectures”, “Literature Reviews”, “Information, Chronicles, Anniversaries”. “The journal is published in Ukrainian and English.

  1. The material of the article should be presented according to the following scheme:

a) UDC index;

b) in italics and surname of the author(s);

c) the title of the article;

d) the full name of the institution where the work was performed;

e) a general statement of the problem and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks;

f) analysis of the latest research and publications that initiated the solution to this problem and on which the author relies;

g) highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which this article is devoted;

h) formulation of the goals of the article or statement of the task (mandatory!);

i) presentation of the main research material with a full analysis of the scientific results obtained;

j) conclusions from this study and prospects for further research in this area;

l) literature;

m) two abstracts - in Ukrainian and English - up to 1800 printed characters (spaces and keywords) in the following format: in italics and surname of the author(s), title of the article, text of the abstract (relevance, objectives, results, discussion, conclusions), keywords (no more than five).

  1. The volume of original and other types of articles should not exceed 8 pages, reviews - 10-12 pages. The total volume does not include a list of references, summary, keywords, or information about the authors. The information about the authors must include e-mail addresses.
  2. The text should be printed on a standard typewritten sheet, with a margin width of 2 cm on the left, top and bottom, and 1 cm on the right. The text should be placed on a computer, Times New Roman font, size 14, one and a half spacing. The materials should be accompanied by a disk/diskette.
  3. The list of references should be prepared in accordance with GOST 7.1-84. The list of references should contain a list of works for the last 5 years and only in some cases earlier publications. As a rule, original works contain no more than 10 sources, reviews - no more than 25. In the manuscript, references to the literature should be given in brackets in the order of mention. Each work in the list of references should be referenced in the text of the manuscript.
  4. Authors must indicate whether they used artificial intelligence when
    writing the paper.
  5. The editorial board reserves the right to review, edit, and reject papers that do not meet the editorial requirements for publication without further explanation. Manuscripts are not returned to authors.
  6. At the end of the article, please note the following information:

    Contribution authors/ authors’ contribution:  Conception of the study, overall management. statistical processing, analysis of results. - Collection of data, analysis of results, writing the article, drawing conclusions. All authors have read and agreed with the published version of the manuscript.

    Institutional Review Board Statement

    The study received a positive decision from the bioethics committee (name of the institution, protocol No. .... of ......) and complied with the basic moral and ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki of the World Medical Association for Biomedical Research.

     Informed Consent Statement

    Written informed consent to the processing of personal data and its further use was obtained from the patient(s).

      Data Availability Statement

    All information is publicly available, data on a specific patient can be obtained upon request from the lead author.
